Fees for Counseling in New London NH

Before scheduling our initial session either in person at my office in New London, NH or online over telehealth for clients in NH, VT and MA, I will arrange with you a time for a 15 minute phone discussion. This time will be spent getting to know what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, and to see if we may be a good fit to work together.

I will email you a link to complete intake forms online prior to the session.

55-minute couples intake session: $300

This session includes a thorough review of your initial paperwork and assessments.

This initial session costs more as it requires considerable time before and after your appointment to adequately review paperwork, assessments, and case conceptualize. 

55-minute individual and couples psychotherapy session: $225

Insurance

I am an out of network provider only. As an out-of-network provider in NH,MA and VT I will gladly provide an invoice for you to send to your insurance company for possible full or partial reimbursement. That means you are responsible for the full fee at the time of our appointment, and, depending on your plan, a certain percentage may be paid to you by your insurance company. I have additionally partnered with an app, Reimbursify, that I recommend to clients with PPO insurance plans to assist them with filing claims. I am more than happy to discuss this solution with you during our consultation call.

Contact your insurance company directly to find out if you have out of network benefits; not all plans have this option. Below are some questions to ask your insurance provider when you call the number on the back of your insurance card:

• Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits? (Some companies call these behavioral health benefits.)

• What is my deductible and has it been met?

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

• What is the address to send my "super bill" or invoice in order to be reimbursed?
