It’s time to invest in your relationships

I’m a NH based therapist who specializes in couples therapy, developmental and relational trauma, perfectionism and self esteem issues

Serving clients in person in New London, NH and online across NH, VT and MA

I know it’s not easy

There is a lot of information out there on self-help and relationships. So much so that it can be overwhelming and confusing. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to read, study, train and practice the most effective and well researched methods we have to date. I believe as long as you have the right information and a growth mindset, you will be able to make the changes you need to feel secure in yourself and your relationships.

Hey it's me, Ashley Williams

I'M A LICENSED INDEPENDENT CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LICSW)

I chose to specialize in relationships and developmental and relational trauma because I believe our relationships—both past and present—have a profound impact on how we experience ourselves and connect with others. My work is grounded in attachment and psychodynamic perspectives, with a focus on understanding how early experiences shape the patterns, beliefs, and ways of relating that can continue to affect us throughout adulthood.

Therapy offers an opportunity not only to understand these patterns, but to begin experiencing ourselves and our relationships differently. My approach is relational, active, and collaborative, helping clients develop greater insight, flexibility, and more secure ways of relating to themselves and others.

My Story

Since part of our work together will be helping you live a more full, balanced life, you should know that I also aim to practice what I preach! So, the following may be things you want to know:

I grew up in a small rural town in Vermont and was an avid horseback rider throughout my adolescence.

I spent several years in London, UK where I worked as a social worker in the areas of child protection, immigration and with adults with disabilities.

I have since had varied professional and life experiences to draw upon as an outpatient and partial hospitalization therapist, healthcare consultant and adjunct professor.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children, cats, and dogs as well as reading, working on my bullet journal, gardening and cooking.
